Amazon.com was launched in 1995 by Jeff bezos in a garage with the intention of selling books online. Initially Amazon was a books store. But now amazon is the world's biggest online retailer. Amazon sales everything on their platform. Now, it is considered worldwide one of the Big Four technology companies with a wide range of products on their website. It is one of the leading online shopping websites on earth, you can literally buy anything you can think of online on this platform.

Apart from products, Amazon as a retailer platform provides you services such as Amazon Music, Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Kindle, Audible, and Amazon Alexa and you can enjoy all of those services if have an account on Amazon. If you don't have an account yet then you're missing out a lot. So if you want to enjoy those services and products on Amazon you have to create an an account on Amazon. In order to create an account on Amazon.com all you need is a mobile number and an email address, email address optional though but sometimes it's needed. Now I am going to discuss how you can create an account on Amazon and here is how you can create an Amazon account using the Amazon app.

● Step 1: Open the app, if you don't have one on your phone then you can download it from Google play store.

● Step 2: After opening the app on your phone you'll find an option something like Create a new Amazon account, click that option.

● Step 3: Enter a User name or choose a user name from your mind that you wanted to be your Amazon account Id.

● Step 4: you will ask to give your mobile number and email address to connect.

● Step 5: Enter a Password of your choice.

● Step 6: At last click on Continue button.

● Step 7: A new page appears, here you have to or need to enter the six-digit OTP that you received after giving your mobile number in the space provided and click to verify and you are done.

Note: Before making an account it's important to make sure that you are using a valid mobile number and that number have to be yours because without a mobile number you'll not allow to create your Amazon account. Having a mobile number to create an Amazon account is mandatory. whereas the addition of an email address is optional that I already said above.

You can log into Your Amazon account anytime you want by clicking on Your Account at the top of each page on Amazon app. In order to login to your amazon account all you need to do is to enter the same mobile number and password that you used to create your Amazon account. You can also log into amazon by providing e-mail address if your provided an email address while creating your Amazon account.

So in that sense here is the process below that you need to follow in order to create an Amazon account using Amazon website.......

● Step 1: Go amazon.com using a web browser of your choice. You can use any web browser to go to amazon website on PC or Mac or even you can create amazon account on Amazon website by using your mobile phone. This is how the home page of amazon looks like.

● Step 2: Click the account button. You will find the tab in the upper right corner on the Amazon home page. After placing the mouse cursor over this tab, this will show you a list of account options on the screen. When you do Click this tab, it'll takes you to the sign-in screen.

If you are signed or want to sign in under a different account, place the mouse cursor over that Account & Lists and then click Sign Out or log out bottom from the menu and you're done.

● Step 3: After clicking the account tab on the upper right corner on your Amazon screen, you'll see a sign in button and a option called "new customer? Start here".

Because you want to create your new Amazon account that's you need to choose the option "new customer? Start here." And after clicking that option you'll see a new page where you can create  an account on Amazon. The page I am talking about is looks something like that.

● Step 4: On that account creating page of amazon you'll see four column first one is "your name", and then "email", and then "password", and then the column of Re-enter  password. So fill up those column accordingly.

Few things to remember while filling those important column and those are you should have to enter a valid email address, a email address that you use regularly or very often and make sure the email address you're entering that you can remember or access anytime. Second is type your desired password and the password which is strong and a password that you can remember.

Your password will need to be at least 6 characters long according to amazon guidelines. A good password should have a combination of capital letters and small letters, few numbers and special characters (i,e; &, @, !) Something like this example "Mynameisjames@2001". Make sure that you write down the password in a paper you created for further use to log into your amazon account. And in the last column rewrite the password.

● Step 5: Now after fulfilling all those column that I mentioned above click "Create Your Amazon Account". It's the yellow button at the end of those column or of the form. And when you completely complete the process amazon sends you  confirmation email to the email address you mentioned with a one-time password or in short OTP. Now open a new tab to go to your email.

● Step 6: Check your email, you'll see an email from Amazon top of your emails. After you complete your registration process for your amazon account, the website displays a page asking you to enter your one-time password that they sends you on your registered email. To get the OTP, you will need to check the email account you entered during the registration for your Amazon account. Now use a separate tab on the browser to check your email. Its better to check your email using your smartphone because you can easily open the email app on your smartphone to check your email.

● Step 7: After opening that email you'll see few large bold letters in the center of the page or top of the page. Copy that one time password or you can take note of that One-Time Password on a paper. The OTP amazon sends you is a 6-digit number.

In case you have not received an email contaning OTP from Amazon after account registration, check the email address you entered, is that correct or not and then click "Resend OTP" at the bottom of the Amazon registration page, amazon will send the OTP again.

● Step 8: Now after copying the OTP return to the Amazon registration page.  You need to return to tab or web browser you were using to finish the process of your amazon account creation.

Enter the One-time password on the column where amazon ask you to enter that OTP and then click Verify. This verifies your account and signs you into Amazon under your new account where now you can use the Amazon website.
